Overseas chapters of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz organised a series of solidarity events across Europe to commemorate Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and reaffirm support for Pakistan’s unity, armed forces and national stability.
The largest of these events was held in Manchester under the auspices of the Consulate General of Pakistan. The ceremony brought together members of the overseas Pakistani community, political and social figures, and representatives from different professions in what participants described as a tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and a celebration of national unity.
A key address at the event was delivered by Barrister Amjad Malik, a prominent figure within the overseas Pakistani and Kashmiri community in the United Kingdom. Speaking on the occasion, he said that overseas Pakistanis have always stood by their homeland and continue to promote Pakistan’s positive image internationally. He described Bunyan-un-Marsoos as a symbol of patriotism, resilience and unwavering national commitment.
The event was also attended by a British Member of Parliament Afzal Khan, who appreciated the role of overseas Pakistanis in strengthening ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. Pakistan’s Consul General in Manchester similarly praised the community for serving as ambassadors of Pakistan abroad and said such gatherings reinforce national cohesion.
Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s security, prosperity and development, while participants pledged to continue supporting the country’s unity and stability.
Denmark Rally Reflects Diaspora Solidarity

In Denmark, members of the Pakistani community also organized a Bunyan-un-Marsoos solidarity rally marked by strong patriotic participation. Overseas Pakistanis from various walks of life gathered carrying Pakistani flags and chanting slogans in support of the country.
Addressing the rally, Aftab Ahmed Rumi said overseas Pakistanis remain firmly connected to their homeland and play an important role in presenting Pakistan’s positive image globally. He termed Bunyan-un-Marsoos a reflection of national unity, steadfastness and love for the country.
Participants at the Denmark rally also expressed their resolve to remain united with Pakistan during all challenges and to continue contributing toward the country’s progress and stability.
OPC Continues Outreach for Overseas Pakistanis

The Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab has continued outreach initiatives aimed at resolving issues faced by overseas Pakistanis. During a recent open forum chaired by Barrister Amjad Malik, expatriates raised concerns about property disputes, court matters and administrative hurdles.
Officials informed participants that a digital dashboard system has been introduced to monitor complaints and improve transparency in the resolution process. According to the Commission, the initiative is part of broader efforts by the Punjab government to strengthen institutional support for overseas Pakistanis and improve service delivery through technology-driven reforms.
